Head girls basketball coach Trevor Keller will not return for the 24-25 season. Coach Keller leaves with a 54-60 record, coaching five seasons for the Chargers.
Fuller resigns as WHS baseball coach after 3 seasons
Lance Fuller, special education teacher and head baseball coach, will also be leaving Wabaunsee next school year. Fuller leaves Wabaunsee baseball with a 19-43 record, coaching the Chargers the last three seasons.
Ulsaker to coach at Topeka West
Christian Ulsaker is leaving Wabaunsee with a 58-54 record, coaching five years for the Chargers. He will coach at Topeka West next season.
Rutledge resigns after 6 years as WHS head football coach
Jess Rutledge announced his departure to football players Monday afternoon. As a head coach, Rutledge led the team to a 27-31 record, including 4-6 in the playoffs.
Breiner retires from FCS, FCCLA positions
Family and consumer science teacher Diane Breiner is retiring… again. Breiner retired in 2014 after 28 years at WHS, but found it hard to stay away. After a year at Northern Heights, she returned to WHS to teach special education and FCS, in addition to advising FCCLA.
