Some of the technology might look different, but back in 1995, vocational classes were just as important to students as they are now. The 1995 Charger yearbook highlighted mechanics, computer drafting and woods classes, as well as FFA. The Colophon describes the production of the 1995 yearbook. The book sold to students for $20.

Throwback Thursday: 1990 Winter Royalty

This week's Throwback Thursday looks at 1990's Winter Royalty. Current students should recognize the queen, WHS principal Jan (Frank) Hutley. Travis Wilson was crowned king.

Hutley's daughter Maddy is a candidate for this year's crown, along with Megan Strait, Kaytlyn Meseke and Autymn Schreiner. The king candidates are Keaton Johnson, Jackson Frank, Jakob Schutter and Chad Chambers.

Throwback Thursday | Volleyball team returns to state

Throwback Thursday | Every Thursday this year the Charger is looking back on the history of WHS. Check each week for stories from old newspapers and yearbooks, and maybe some new reporting as well.

Slam! Another spike, another kill for the lady charger volleyball team. The lady chargers united to build a powerful program. Adjusting to both a new head coach and assistant coach the team fought its way to the best finish in charger volleyball history.
