Lots of WHS students play sports, but six graduating seniors have played every season of their careers without a break. These “12-sport” athletes played every season from freshman through senior years, even though a couple of them switched sports along the way.
Three students claimed championships in the Kansas Scholastic Press Association regional competition last month.

The Wabaunsee FCCLA students are preparing to bring STAR events to competition on Wednesday. STAR stands for Student Taking Action with recognition. There are 14 groups competing in 11 different categories ranging from service projects to career exploration.
For the first time in more than three decades, both Wabaunsee basketball teams are headed to state.
