As the Chargers prepare for the end of homecoming week, we look back to the '95 yearbook and homecoming from the fall of 1994.
Watch the candidates in action at the parade Wednesday at 6:30, or the pep rally Friday at 1:30. The crowning takes place Friday at 6:20 followed by football vs. Northern Heights.
Homecoming week will look a little different this year, with the parade moving to Wednesday night and the addition of a powderpuff football game.

Today we throwback to the Fall of 1982 for homecoming. The theme was "Endless Love" and the king and queen were Eddie Katt and Chris Berroth.
2021 Homecoming candidates answer questions about their time at WHS. The homecoming parade begins Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the pep rally downtown after. The crowning is at 6:30 with football vs. Troy at 7 p.m. The homecoming dance begins after the game until 11 p.m.

For this week’s Throwback Thursday we’re looking back at Homecoming 1975, year 2 of Wabaunsee High School.
Current WJH principal Steve Oliver was crowned Homecoming king and Diana Coon Homecoming Queen.

Homecoming is going to take on a new Covid-proof look next week as the Chargers prepare to take on the Uniontown Eagles.
Students and staff enacted numerous changes in an attempt to make homecoming fun, but there were some disappointing decisions made. Student Council representatives met with principal Jan Hutley and discussed options for continuing with the traditional homecoming activities safely, although a few are still being prohibited.
