During the USD 329 board meeting May 8, there were discussions about resignations, track repairs, FCCLA national funding and new flooring.

There were five resignations this month, three of them being long-serving bus drivers. Connie Havenstein, Don Ginavan, and Jim Heine all announced their retirements.

Athletic Director Jeron Wiesshaar presented the board with plans to repair the track. This would possibly include crack repairs and resurfacing. No voting or decisions were made on the matter.

Superintendent Troy Pitsch discussed reevaluating the budget over FCCLA national funding as expenses have increased. The board did approve funding for this year.

There was brief discussion on using COVID funding to get new flooring in a few places in the building.
