Senior Kwinton Willier signed to cheer at Midland University. He will be repping the orange and navy with the Warriors.
Midland is a small NAIA university in Fremont, Nebraska.

“I chose Midland because it’s a smaller NAIA school and it seems like a place that I would want to spend the next four years of my education. They also offered me a pretty decent scholarship,” Willier said.
Willier’s coach said he is a good leader and a cherished member on the team. “He’s determined, strong mentally and physically, has very good interpersonal skills, and he’s an asset to any team. We’re going to miss him a lot,” coach Cheryl Lewis said.
Willier has been a part of the Wabaunsee cheer team for 4 years. He is a two time UCA All-American and a jump off champion. He is one of the strongest back spots on the team. Kwinton also does coed stunting which is his favorite part of cheer. “My favorite thing about cheer is stunting, especially coed. I like stunting because it gives me a way to show my strength,” he said.
“I’m going to miss Kwinton a lot. He’s built a great foundation for our team the last three years I’ve been cheering and I wish him the best,” teammate Sienna Jones said.
“Cheer has made a huge impact on me. It has helped me with time management, being an uplifting team member, physical and mental health, as well as learning where I belong. I’m excited to continue my cheer career with Midland and learn new things,” Willier said.
